Original vintage package of KACTI brand Cactus Thorn Gramophone Phonograph Victrola Needles - sealed full. Made in the USA. These were made to be used for playing old 78 RPM Records on a Wind-Up Phonograph. By design, they were supposed to save some wear on your records and also play with a mellow tone quality. I didn't open the package, since it is Unopened Original Store Stock, but I believe it contains 10 - 12 of these needles. After playing 5 - 15 records, you are supposed to re-sharpen the tip using an emery board (like you use on your finger nails) or a fine sand paper. Some companies even made "Cactus Needle Sharpeners" as well. This package measures about 3 5/8" long x 2 1/4" wide. The shipping cost in the continental USA is only .
